Festival Highlights
World-Class Performances
From powerful plays and thrilling dance to unforgettable live music and comedy, SEEN Festival 2025 presents a rich programme of performances from artists across disciplines and backgrounds.
The SEEN Marketplace
Our popular Marketplace Day celebrates local makers, traders, and entrepreneurs with a vibrant mix of fashion, food, crafts, books, art, and wellness products. It's a lively community space with great vibes, live music, and cultural pride. Applications to be apart of this exciting opportunity will be open in June 2025.
Borough-Wide Events
SEEN Festival isn’t just happening on stage — it's happening all across Lewisham. This year’s programme includes a lively Opening Night celebration, a joyful Children’s Day filled with creativity and family fun, Poetry Nights, community Library Events, school programmes and pop-ups throughout the borough. Expect workshops, conversations, and cultural happenings in unexpected places — all designed to bring people together and make the arts accessible to all.
Mentorship Programme
Running from July to October, our enhanced mentorship programme offers emerging artists hands-on support to develop new work. Mentees receive tailored mentorship from industry leaders, grant support, and the opportunity to present their work during the festival.
Championing Diversity & Inclusion
At its core, SEEN Festival is a movement—one that pushes boundaries, challenges narratives, and reclaims space for historically underrepresented creatives. Through an electrifying mix of art forms, the festival aims to inspire meaningful connections and celebrate the vibrant cultures that shape Lewisham and beyond. Join us this October for a festival that’s more than an event—it’s a statement.
“We’re thrilled to bring SEEN Festival back for its second year, building on the incredible momentum and community we created in 2024. This year, we’re evolving our mentorship programme, expanding our Marketplace, and presenting a powerful line-up of work that celebrates culture and community. Our partnership with Lewisham Council is central to this – together, we’re investing in artists, creating opportunity, and making sure Lewisham’s creativity is truly seen.”
