Ten years on from the death of their best mate, Tony, three friends Danny, Charlotte, and Temi, now all in their late-20s are confronted by the choices they did or didn’t make. Fast forward a year later, Wasted came back to stage at the Catford’s Broadway Theatre, produced by Mica Theatre in association with Nouveau Riche, with a new perspective from Director Toby Clarke. Written by Kae Tempest, an award-winning poet, writer, lyricist, performer, playwright, and recording artist with award-winning work. They have recieved Mercury Music Prize and Ivor Novello nominations, and have been named a Next Generation Poet in 2014, a once in a decade accolade, and received the Ted Hughes Award and the Leone D’Argento at the Venice Teatro Biennale for their work as a playwright.
